1. What options are there for television watching in beijing?
Beijing's local cable network offers around 55 local channels, Some hotels and apartment buildings offer their international channels via independent dish systems; the programs they offered differs from place to place.

2. Can I got the detailed description on Dream Satellite TV?
the most popular options is Dream Broadcasting System from the Philippines. This system requires a 0.45m/0.55m diameter dish to get a sufficient strong signal reception. The channel lineup is: CNN, CNBC Asia, BBC World, Australia Network,HBO , Cinemax, Star Movies, Hallmark, Turner Classic Movies, Star World, AXN, NGC,  Adventure One, MTV Philippines, smile of a child ,ETC, Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Animax. Sports Channels like Star Sports, ESPN, Solar sports, DW, Church, TBN, JCTV and Living Asia.more than 50 channels are available.

3. What are basic criteria you must meet for installation?
Make sure there are no obstructions in the direction the dish must face; they might block the signal. generally speaking, the bigger the dish, the better the reception  when weather is bad. But each system has a minimum dish requirement.

4. Our current satellite equipments didn`t work at all, what should I do?
Firstly make sure your decoder and cables still connected to the dish. secondly make sure your card in the decoder is not expired. Thirdly you need to find out whether your small dish aimed at one satellite  you are receiving.  the situation is there are many different satellite channels that are bundled into a variety of packages. then you shall call the satellite installer to buy the new card.

5. Can I use my existing wiring to install my satellite system?
If the cable in your house is 75-5 coaxical cable, you can use it to connect your receiver to your satellite dish. otherwise, you will need to run new cable. It is important that you use 75-5 cable due to the frequency of the digital signals it must carry.

6. Can I just buy some channels of your system?
The answer is no, there are many different satellite channels that are bundled into a variety of packages. you can delete some channels in your favorite list so you don't see them each time you switch channels.

7. How many TVs can I connect to one dish? or to one dish/receiver?
You may have as many as four (4) TV sets connected to the dish. However, if you wish to do this, you will have to advise us in advance so you may be given the dish configured for such service. Also, you will have to purchase additional Receivers for additional televisions.

8. What's the difference between different size dishes?
Driving through any neighborhood and you're likely to see small gray dishes clinging to rooftops or balconies pointed to the sky, ranging from 0.5m in diameter to 1.5m in diameter. Most of the dishes are around 0.55m in diameter; the size depends on which satellite the dish must receive from. Generally speaking, the bigger the dish, the better the reception is when weather is bad such as during heavy rain. Each system has a minimum dish requirement. 9. What situation for the clients to choose the pirated system?
you are living in China only for a relatively short period(half year or one year),not pay annual fee, you can choose the system. the cost is much cheap but the signal not stable.we can offer relative service within term of contract.

10. What if I move?
We offer relative service to move your satellite tv system from original spot to your new residence, but you should call us in advance at least one day ensure we can arrange time to do that. the cost is normally @rbm 400-800 if you have a local move within the scope of beijing city!Easily transfer your Satellite TV system service to a new address. 11. What should I do for installation?

Scheduling Your Installation

During Installation
Anyan Satellite installer will:
1. Install a dish on your roof, side of home, balcony or other location.
2. Drill small hole through one wall or window so that cable can run into the room.
3. Connect Receiver to your current TV
4. Give you a mini-training about your system.
The majority of Our customers need just one dish, no matter how many receivers/rooms. A select few customers may require an additional dish, depending on a customer's programming choices.

12. What if I Live in an Apartment or Condo?
You don't need to own a house to enjoy Anyan Satellite service. Our professional installers will install the Satellite system in the most appealing location for your home, apartment, townhouse. You may need to ask permission from your property management office before getting a Satellite TV System installed.
13. What if Satellite TV system upgrade or fails?
We will send mail to you announce system upgrade and will arrange to deliver the updated smart card to your residence. Setting Up Receiver
Q. There is no power when I switch on my receiver.
A. Check the power lead of STB is plugged in the mains and switched on. Ensure that the power switch is on at the back of the receiver.

Q. I cannot get a picture on my TV from my receiver.
A. First, if you are using SCART, make sure it is connected to your STB and also to your TV. Make sure that you are using the correct Audio/Video input channel on your TV. If you are using an RF lead, confirm it is connected to your receiver and your TV. Make sure that you have tuned your TV correctly.

Q. I can receive a good picture but no sound.
A. Check the audio mute controls on both receiver and TV. Check the volume controls on both receiver and TV. If your STB is connected to your TV via RF lead, make sure that you have selected the correct PAL Setting for your region in the "UHF Tuning" menu.

Q. The remote controller does not work.
A. Replace the batteries. Point the remote controller towards the receiver.

Channel Searching & Saving
Q. How can I find satellite with my STB?
A. It is very easy to build in receiving antenna system by using STB. And you can do as below :

Step 1: Site. At first, you must know the right vertical line direct to earth's equator from your position and your local latitude, longitude as well as the position of satellite that you want to receive signal from. Then figure out the right 3 angles: azimuth, elevation and polarization angle.

(Note: Be sure there is no trees, buildings and other obstruction exist between antenna and satellite.)

Step 2: Setting. Including antenna setting and STB setting. Antenna setting is a physical work that include floor or wall drilling, antenna assemble and LNB setting. In order to adjust the 3 angles mentioned above, you should not tighten the relative bolts here, just screw them in their position and do not let the linking parts move free. But you'd better set the polarization angle as precise as you can so that you have only two angles to adjust later. Then go to STB setting. Connect your STB,TV set and antenna correctly. Power on your receiver and go to Main Menu. Select "Antenna setting" and set all the parameter correctly: including satellite name, L.O Frequency and switch state according to the device you used. After this press OK to save the setting and go to "Transponder Setting", select the satellite name you have set just now and then select "Add new transponder". Enter the Frequency and Symbol Rate, select the correct polarization and then do not do anything else to your STB. The STB setting is over and go to next step.

Step 3: Direction. When you come here, just move the antenna slowly from left to right, up and down as zigzag orbit until the signal appear on the TV screen. Then adjust that 3 angles to make signal strength up to Max value and tighten all the bolts. Thus the whole antenna setting is over. Take the Remote Controller again and select Search = Yes, then press OK to search programs. The result will be appear several seconds later. Press EXIT and then press MENU, you can enjoy Digital Satellite TV program now.

Q. Can I search two or more satellites automatically?
A. Yes. You will need a 22K, 0/12V or DiSEqC 1.0 switches with antennas for each satellite connected to it. Set the antenna settings to the same state according to the combinatorial switches, and then use the "Auto-scan antenna" option in the "Antenna Setting" menu and select "All" to scan all the satellites that have been set.

If your STB supports DiSEqC1.2 H-H Motor, please refer to the USER'S MANUAL or any other professional information.

Q. How can I search for a transponder manually?
A. Enter the main menu and select transponder setting. Select the satellite you want to use and select "Add new transponder" and then enter the Frequency, Symbol Rate and Polarization of the transponder that you require and the right Eb/No can display, set Search = Yes and press OK on the remote control unit. The search will start now.

Q. I keep getting the Eb/No = 0% when I try a manual search.
A. Make sure that your dish is aligned correctly first. Then confirm that you are selected the right satellite and all the parameters are setting correctly. Otherwise check the information whether the Transponder's beam cover your area and the EIRP is strong enough.

Q . How can I get the information about satellite worldwide including frequency?

A. You can find this information in many websites on the internet. for example, http://www.satcodx.com, http://www.lyngsat.com, http://www.sat4all.com or you can find these channel listings in various satellite publications.

Q. How many channels can be stored on my receiver?
A. Please visit the "Products" section.

Q . Why the order of channels' list is broken when I try to store one more channel?

A. This is most likely that you have reached the maximum bouquet limit of your STB. You should delete some bouquets in order to store more channels.

Others

Q. "No(or Bad) Signal" message on TV screen.
A. There are lots of possibilities.
-> Check your dish and LNB condition such as position and even cable status.
-> Check connection of antenna and the STB.
-> If you are using DiSEqC1.0 switch, please check the DiSEqC1.0 switching
function works normally.
-> We have a request saying that this problem was gone when changed the LNB.
-> Please check the signal is good and covers your area.
-> In addition, other possible factor are temperature and tuner. The temperature
of a room or LNB can affect operation.
-> Check the current software version and upgrade with the latest version only if
the current version is out of date.
-> It is likely that updated the wrong software from PC. If this is the case, you'd
better upgrade your receiver's software again with correct software version.


Q. There is only one dot lights on the front panel, and the receiver
doesn't work at all.
A. This is most likely that your LNB or cable is short current. If the problem is resolved after removing the cable from your STB, you should check your device outdoor.

Q. The booting time is too long.
A. Please go to main menu and select factory default to erase all the personal setting, then reset your receiver again.

Q. How can I change the background picture?
A. We do not have any software enabling you to do this.

Q. My receiver is too hot.
A. Usually, the operating temperature of your STB is between 0 and 40 degree Celsius. Please ensure air ventilation around the receiver and do not place anything on the top of it.

Q. What is the manufacturer's code for my universal remote control?
A. Unfortunately certain box do not support the code at present.

Q. How can I set my receiver to Factory Default?
A. Please refer to "The booting time is too long".
